WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
‘The Best of Stories’ online course is the opportunity for sisters to discuss and share reflections on selected stories of the Quran. Guided by the course notes and audio lessons, we will be discussing the stories as a group, reflecting, sharing lessons and gems. Inshallah, we’ll be covering one story from the Quran per week across four weeks.
LIVE CLASSES
The one-hour live classes will meet on Mondays from 9-10pm (GMT – London, UK) for four weeks. Starting on March 8th.
COURSE MATERIALS
Course notes and weekly audio lessons covering each story and sharing a few reflections will be provided for you to listen to in your own time, and refer back to whenever you’d like.
ASSIGNMENTS
There are no assignments, however attendees would benefit from preparing by reading/watching/listening to the Tafseer (scholarly commentary) of the selected stories from the Quran before taking part in the live class discussion

When does the course start?
The course is open for attendees to access on Monday, March 1st, 2021 and runs for four weeks, ending on April 5th, 2021 inshallah.
Who is this course for?
This course for ladies only and taught in English, knowledge of the Arabic language is not required. It will be best for women who are looking for a way to engage with the Quran beyond just recitation and memorization.

What can you tell us about the instructor?
As the founder of Recite & Reflect, Sumayah aims to redefine the way the Quran is experienced. She designed her courses and workshops specifically for those trying to understand the Quran on a human level and connect with it in a personal way.
Sumayah has studied Advanced Quranic Tafsir Studies with Shaykh Dr. Mohammad Akram Nadwi at the Cambridge Islamic College; where she completed diplomas in Arabic & Islamic Studies as well as Usool At-Tafsir & Uloom Al-Quran (Fundamentals of Quranic Exegesis and Sciences of the Quran).

The course is taught online. Live classes meet on Zoom.
